Other possible outcomes to world war two?

There are so many aspects to our lives today that would have been affected if Germany had won the war and had become the world power that the U.S. has become today. Certaine social tallerances that are expected in American society today wouldn't be a thought. One would have to ask the question, what aspects of society would differ if Hitler was successful in his mission of genocide? How conceivable is the thought of an entire race of people extinct, completely whiped from the planet? Hypothetically speaking what if society fell into yet another slump? Who then would would take the fall?

 Most of the same aspects that gave Hitler his power have thrived throughout american history for many years. Hitler used social prejudices to back his belief that the Jews were bringing down society and they were the reason for all of there problems. Many of those same prejudices were seen in America when the Italians first came over to the states. Those prejudeces were seen once again when the Irish came over. The movie "Gangs of New York" depicts much of the prejudice towards the Irish of that time. The list goes on and on. There is no real way to predict what direction Hitler direction would have taken had he won the war but the concept of American society as "The melting Pot" would be non-existant.
